By: B. Baxter

Author Gil Robertson has written a book that tackles a taboo subject in the African American community...HIV/AIDS. On World AIDS Day, Robertson plans to release, "Not in My Family'.

"Not in My Family" is a compilation of essays from well known and lesser known celebrities exploring how HIV/AIDS has reshaped lifestyles and attitudes within the African American community. "Not in My Family" will provide lessons in courage and pearls of wisdom and inspiration. It will also present an opportunity for families both immediate and extended--to gain the courage to move forward with their lives, dealing openly and honestly about their feelings for each other in sickness and health.
